About our privacy policy improving daily life
We strive to improve the daily lives of as many people as possible every day. We do this with our collections, but also with our services. In some cases, we require information that we collect when you visit us in one of our stores, online. We don’t just do this without asking your permission or for no reason. We’d like to explain to you below what information we collect, why we do so and how long we keep your information. After all, it’s all about your privacy, and we don’t want any ambiguity about something as important as that.
Our privacy policy is based on a number of principles that are in line with MATERIAL 360 values:
- We only collect data with an intended purpose in mind.
- We are open and honest about the data we collect.
- We keep all data in a safe place.
- We collect information only in an ethical and legally responsible manner.
- We respect the fact that data belongs to a person.
Changing or deleting your data
If you would like to know what information we hold about you, you can ask us. If certain information is incorrect, we can change it for you. You can also change the details of your MATERIAL 360 Family account or your online MATERIAL 360 profile at any time.
You can also ask us to delete your data and to stop using it.
If you have previously given your consent, you can revoke it at any time. However, we are allowed (if necessary) to keep the data for which you have already given your permission. In a number of cases, you can also indicate that you would like to “limit” your data. We will then ensure that your data is not used without your permission.
You can obtain some data from us in a customary format. This applies to electronic data that you yourself have passed on to us, data that you have created with us and data that we have used for an agreement that we have entered into with you or for which you have given your consent.
In some cases, we may refuse your request. For example, if you ask us to delete your data, but we need it for tax reasons or as evidence in the event of complaints. If this is the case, we will let you know as soon as possible.
